Movement into Meditation

  • Mountain Rain Zen Community (online) 2016 Wall Street Vancouver, B.C. Canada (map)
When we have our body and mind in order, everything else will exist in the right place, in the right way.
— Shunryu Suzuki, in Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind

Within this all-bodies /abilities offering, we will gently explore ways to cultivate and deepen an embodied movement practice. No special equipment or clothing is needed. We will use what is available within the zendo (zafu/zabutons/chairs). Those attending in person are most welcome to bring whatever equipment you may find beneficial for your practice and that you can take home with you (no storage at zendo please).

In person attendance is drop-in basis and subject to current covid requirements.

Online attendance can use regular Wednesday practice Zoom link.

As there is no registration fee per se; please consider making contributions as able in order to support our practice space. and the teacher.

Sessions will be recorded (only facilitator will be recorded) and made available on request for one week. Please contact registrar@mountainrainzen.org
