Buddhist Perspectives on Death, Dying and Loss Series
Please join us for a talk by well-known Zen teacher, writer, and professor, David Loy, who will discuss Buddhist reflections of death denial and life transformation. "Religion can work either as a means of death denial or a path that acknowledges and comes to terms with that inevitability."
We will start with a short meditation period, followed by the talk, questions and discussion, and informal tea and snacks.
Everyone is welcome. By donation. No previous experience of meditation or Buddhism necessary. Plenty of chairs, meditation benches and cushions available.
Buddhist teachings and practices are presented in a non-sectarian and accessible format.
