Donations to Teachers (Dana)

Dana in the Buddhist tradition is the practice of generosity. Mountain Rain’s retreat and event fees do not include an amount for the teachers. Mountain Rain’s guiding teachers receive a stipend from the community as a whole. In addition, individuals make personal contributions depending on their means and attendance.

Your support allows the teachers to offer the dharma though retreats, dokusan, dharma seminars and talks. All dana offerings are received with gratitude.

You can donate to Shinmon Michael Newton and Myoshin Kate McCandless, Mountain Rain’s Guiding Teachers, in the following ways:
