Buddhist Ethics for a Troubled World: practicing with the bodhisattva precepts

  • Mountain Rain Zendo 2016 Wall St Vancouver, BC, V5L 1J5 Canada (map)

The bodhisattva precepts are guidelines for living a life of non-harming, inexhaustible mindfulness practices, and deep koans that express the boundlessness of our true nature. In this retreat we will explore how to apply the practice of the precepts to some of the complex moral/ethical issues we face individually and collectively in the world today. Bring your questions, your open hearts and minds.

The retreat will include zazen, kinhin (walking meditation), informal talks by the teachers, small and large group discussion. Please bring a bag/box lunch. Herbal tea will be provided.
