Let’s support each other in practicing right speech, voicing our concerns regarding current social/environmental/climate issues. Let’s find ways to express wisdom and compassion in response to the issues that concern us most deeply. We hope that the example letters below will inspire you to write and send your own.

On Monday November 25, write letters or emails to defend Vancouver’s Climate Plan. (You do not have to be a Vancouver resident to do this.)

Vancouver has led the way in B.C. towards all-electric heating and hot water in buildings to reduce carbon emissions and to better our health. Mayor, Ken Sim, and some ABC city councillors are trying to amend the by-law and bring back fossil gas heating and hot water.
