Theme: Shantideva was an eighth century Indian philosopher and Buddhist monk whose most famous work is The Way of the Bodhisattva. Dai-i Flo Rublee will share his teachings on anger and patience and how we can apply them in our everyday lives.
The retreat will consist of sitting and walking meditation, dharma talk, and dokusan (brief individual meetings with the teacher).
The dharma talk for Sunday morning practice will be a continuation of the theme.
Please bring a bag lunch and mug for tea.
Volunteers needed to make cookies for afternoon tea.
Dai-i Flo Rublee received lay ordination in 1998 and priest ordination in 2010 from Zoketsu Norman Fischer & dharma transmission in 2023. She was shuso for our 2008 practice period. She is a retired physiotherapist and lives on the Sunshine Coast.
Registration fee: $40 full fee, $20 reduced fee for those on limited income.

Dana: Dana is an ancient Pali word that means generosity. In the Buddhist tradition the teachings are offered freely. Fees only cover expenses, and do not go to the teachers.
