Collective Liberation - 2nd year anniversary potluck

  • Mountain Rain Zen Community 2016 Wall Street Vancouver, B.C. Canada (map)

The Collective Liberation Sitting Group for Racialized Folks celebrates 2 years of practicing together with a potluck followed by mediation, dharma sharing and discussion.

In these times we are living in, Thich Nhat Hanh reminds us that “Life is filled with suffering, but it is also filled with many wonders, like the blue sky, the sunshine, the eyes of a baby. To suffer is not enough. We must also be in touch with the wonders of life”. In Recommending Zazen to All People, Dogen writes:“The zazen I speak of is not learning meditation. It is simply the dharma gate of enjoyment and ease”. As we gather together, we will explore how practice can be a gateway to joy.

So we can get sense of numbers, and what people are bringing please email us at collectiveliberation@mountainrainzen.org
