The Future of Mountain Rain Zen Community is In Your Hands! 

In 2017 Mountain Rain Zen Community will celebrate fifteen years of practice together, and five years at the Wall St. zendo. As part of the Long Term Planning process for Mountain Rain, we invite you to help update and formalize the vision and mission for our organization.

 What is Our Vision: What do we see as possible for ourselves, for others, for our community and the world?

 What is Our Purpose: We are a community of Soto Zen practitioners based upon the tradition of Shunryu Suzuki Roshi. We also draw on other Buddhist traditions.  Our purpose is to share the teachings and practices of the Buddha Dharma.

 What is Our Mission: What we are here TO DO? Our specific actions, tasks or goals to realize our vision and purpose. Action oriented, what are we moving toward?

This will be an important, fun, and inclusive discussion involving small groups. Let your voice and creative ideas be heard.
