Jizo (Kshitigarbha) Bodhisattva of Great Vow
The New Year, and the turning of the season from shortening to lengthening days, often inspires reflections on the previous year and renewal of our aspirations for the year to come. New Year's resolutions can be a setup for self-criticism when we don't follow through with them, or live up to our own expectations. In this dharma seminar we will explore how vows function in Buddhist practice and how they can support us for the long haul through life's greatest challenges.
Wednesday evening schedule: 7:00 zazen, 7:25 kihin, 7:35 zazen 8:00 informal talk followed by small/large group discussion, tea and snacks.
Everyone is welcome to attend. No registration required. By donation.
