Fusatsu Ceremony (bodhisattva precepts ceremony): For the first time ever at Mountain Rain Zendo, we will do the full-length Fusatsu Ceremony as done at San Francisco Zen Center monthly on the full moon, in a tradition dating back to the time of the Buddha. It's a little formal, with lots of chanting and bowing. (We'll bow on our mats, and standing bows are fine for those who find full bows physically difficult.) It's a dress occasion, so please wear robes or samue if you have them, or just dark colors, and white socks, if possible. Everyone welcome!
By donation. No registration. Come for as much as you can! A light lunch will be served.
