In this dharma seminar we will learn what one of the earliest teachings of the Buddha has to offer us as Zen practitioners. In the Satipatthana Sutta the Buddha give us specific practices to cultivate mindfulness of the body, feelings (pleasant, unpleasant, neutral), mind and objects of mind. Please join us to explore the teachings of this fundamental text and how they can help us to live at ease in this complex and difficult world.

Joko Claire Talbot is a longtime member of MRZC. She received lay ordination in 2000. She was shuso for our 2010 practice period, and received lay entrustment from Zoketsu Norman Fischer in 2019. She works as a physician in palliative care and lives in Vancouver.
