Join ZenYU (Young Urban Zen) for a day of meditation, dharma, and mindful work practice at Mountain Rain’s practice house Bright Stream/Koryuji. Sitting, walking, working, cooking and eating together, we will observe noble silence in the bright, airy house and garden. Mountain Rain guiding teachers Myoshin Kate McCandless and Shinmon Michael Newton will share practice perspectives from the Zen tradition. Good food and good company guaranteed. Lunch included.
This retreat is open to all, beginner or experienced, ZenYU participant or not. ZenYU is MRZC’s Monday evening practice group led by experienced facilitators.

Dana (Donations to the teachers): Retreat fees cover expenses and support Mountain Rain Zen.. There will be an opportunity to give a donation/dana to the teachers at the retreat.
