Mountain Rain Zen invites you to participate in Celebrating the Voices of Women in Buddhism; Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.
On Thursday September 12 we will do a replay of the event entitled A Trace of Mahapajapati: The Elements of Dharma Transmission Woman to Woman with Zenju Earthlyn Manuel Osho. This will be on Zoom only. Our guiding teacher Myoshin Kate McCandless will host the replay facilitae discussion afterwards.
Celebrating the Voices of Women in Buddhism; Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow is a monthly, year-long speaker series sponsored by the Soto Zen Buddhist Association. It has been planned by the SZBA DEIA committee and will include Dharma talks, panels, and intimate conversation with Buddhist women and teachers.
Because many of the events conflict with Mountain Rain’s practice schedule, or may be hard to attend due to time zone differences, we are scheduling replays of each session, either in-person/hybrid, or Zoom only.
